Meeting presidency، citizenship and responsibility
Later to the oath speech of president Bashar Al Assad for a new constitutionalstate, many praises were written… one says that the president obviously concerns about the citizen’s living situation.
Others say that he was focusing on the constitutional reforming and fighting the pervasive corruption ….and many others.
We wonder…! Did they add anything new to the speech? Does the speech need to be praised?
Certainly, it’s a citizen’s right to cheer up this event, because Mr. president has shown us the way of our future, spoke to everyone from the bottom of his heart to the bottom of ours and he answered bravely.
We believe that the citizen who feels the responsibility shouldn’t praise, just because the praise usually comes regularly from the top of the pyramid toward the bottom. And from another side, this very citizen has to answer an urged question «what’s your location through the speech trend?
In an another expression «what did you» do? …what did you apply during your practical management? Can we even reach that level of a complete sense of responsibility that Mr.Bashar Al Assad, our leader, has?…..GOD bless Bashar and save our country.
Where do we meet? Where’s the lack? What’s the best way to come over our faults? We, as the general organization for freezones in Syria, and his excellency honored of by saying “sctting up free zones that has a promising investment give our word to be an ideal taken by every one, trying to translate Mr. president’s interests and concerns and moving our lovely country to the level it deserves.

The gate of investment towards Iraq

The general organization for free zones and the company of (Almyri & George) have both signed a contract to set a branch of free zones in the governorate of Alhasakeh- Alyaroubia near the border with Iraq.
The contract is with number 5/b dated 06-04-2006 estimated at 949.148.127 s.p and on area of 1030000m2. the execution period 16 months. The location has been delivered to the contractor on 24-06-2006 The project has completed the following steps, by the end of 21/8/2007.

License procedures.
The license in Syrian free zones is granted for the following activities commercial، industrial، banking and service. The prospective tenant submits the following certified documents to the directory of the free zones:
A. A banking، industrial or commercial tenancy application، as per to the applied sample of the establishment.
B. The application is attached with the following documents The prospective tenant must pay an administrative service fee equals to 150$ for commercial and industrial tenancy and 500 $ for banking tenancy. A drawing of the proposed site، which must be taken from the general location of the free zone intended for tenancy indicating. The number of the plot and north direction . The drawing is certified by the technical directorates of the related free zone A copy of the Syrian tenant’s identity card or a copy of the foreigner’s passport The contract of the company foundation، if the prospective tenant was a company (more than a natural person) determined its kind، capital، term and other legal conditions regulating its functions in accordance with investment system in force in the free zone. A private representative and deputation contract، as per to the prescribed from of the establishment for the foreign prospective tenant.
A copy of a trader registration can replace this contract، provided that he has an activity Syrian
Arab Republic.
A deceleration from the Syrian representative named in the deputation and representative contract، in accordance with the prescribed from of the Establishment residence document and judicial register (unconvinced) from the related parties Advantages Complete exemption of all kinds of fees and duties .
The freedom of transforming the foreign invested capital and its ensured profits in free zones outside the country and viseversa The freedom of employing local and foreign workers in the projects set up in the free zones.
Offer a Syrian certificate of origin or a free zone certificate for products manufactured in the free zones and certify the invoices of foreign product stored inside them.
Supply the infrastructure needed for all projects set up in the free zones (water-electricity- communications-sewageroads-and guards).
The freedom of supplying building materials، machines and equipment for projects set up in the free zone either inside or out side the country.
The allowance to renounce the right of the invested enterprises for other tenants or for a new investor whenever he wants.
Freedom to transfer goods inside the free zones (assignment – transfer from one place to another or from one zone to another).
Open a current account in foreign currency for the investors in the operating private banks in the commercial bank of Syria (free zone branch) Offer the investor a commercial or industrial register and registration of a special trademark to protect it، and set up establishments and register them within free zones.
The wages of invested plots (tenancy fees) are moderate and competitive.
Providing public warehouses with all services to receive the goods which belong to others and enabling them to benefit from the incentives offered to the investors within the free zones It is permitted to export the local primary materials in Syria to the free zones by means of regular export data and according to the provisions of Foreign Trade.
The decisions of executive and provisional seizure shall not be applicable to the enterprises existing within the free zones، and the goods that existed within them unless the seizure is resulting from a dispute related to an activity of one of the disputing parties in the free zone. or when the decision states clearly the restriction of the investor’s assets in the free zone except the enterprises and its investment right.
The investor has the right to enter the transportations means necessary for his activity on a temporary basis into the country، provided that they are used only for the purposes they are entered for.
