 Meeting presidency، citizenship and responsibility
Later to the oath speech of president Bashar Al Assad for a new constitutionalstate, many praises were written… one says that the president obviously concerns about the citizen’s living situation.
Others say that he was focusing on the constitutional reforming and fighting the pervasive corruption ….and many others.
We wonder…! Did they add anything new to the speech? Does the speech need to be praised?
Certainly, it’s a citizen’s right to cheer up this event, because Mr. president has shown us the way of our future, spoke to everyone from the bottom of his heart to the bottom of ours and he answered bravely.
We believe that the citizen who feels the responsibility shouldn’t praise, just because the praise usually comes regularly from the top of the pyramid toward the bottom. And from another side, this very citizen has to answer an urged question «what’s your location through the speech trend?
In an another expression «what did you» do? …what did you apply during your practical management? Can we even reach that level of a complete sense of responsibility that Mr.Bashar Al Assad, our leader, has?…..GOD bless Bashar and save our country.
Where do we meet? Where’s the lack? What’s the best way to come over our faults? We, as the general organization for freezones in Syria, and his excellency honored of by saying “sctting up free zones that has a promising investment give our word to be an ideal taken by every one, trying to translate Mr. president’s interests and concerns and moving our lovely country to the level it deserves.
Since our start in the administration dated November 11th, 2006 we have followed our president’s words through the following:Regarding the institutional reformation:
1 - A committee has been formed to reformthe internal system of the foundation to be current age compatible.The work has been done by the efforts of national experts. And an internal system has been decided according to the decision of the minister of trade and economy in 4 months period as a record according to this decision we create anew directory called promotion and international cooperation directory.
2 - work team is our principle, we work with transparency pushed by the rational ideal leadership … we are practically doing that, trying to simplify procedures and adopting the open door policy, rising up the symbol» the foundation works for investor’s best interest» our complaining phone number /9284/ is written on every door of free zones.
3 - We have been concerning about the citizen living averages trying to improve it via rising the productive incentives and creating new resources for the cooperation box. So, the worker can get a pay raise between 50-70% in the current year and we are thinking to make it even higher next year, we also offer loons without any interest according to the needs.
4 - regarding the economic reformation and the investment improvement in free zones… currently we are about to accomplish the executive instructions for authoring the first private free zone of 15000000m2 area in Deyr Alzoor .and this very issue is considered a practical act of what Mr. president talked about regarding the development in the eastern territories. As well as we have set a free zone in Alyaroubeha/Alhasskeh. To be invested just before it is done and we do hope to be set totally before the end of this year. Also, we have made positive decisions concerning free zones resources… in addition to that, we have gained an extra profit during the first half of 2007 estimated at 118 million Syrian Pound comparing to the same period last year.5 - year 2008 is going to be the year of the comprehensive informatics as we called . we have formed a committee to offer studies and acting the needed procedures before the end of this year.
6- we have commuted the internal system of the cooperative box which has never been changed since 1976
7- three land ports have been authorized in Adraa, Aleppo and Alyaroubeh.
8- currently, we are working on execution of Adraa expansion.
9-a high committee for investment is formed according to the principle of the participation in free zones from different sides of the country. This committee is a bound between the investor and the foundation taking care about the improving the job and simplifying the procedures.
A huge work has been done and we are proud of it but, we still have more to do so, we have got to fulfill our leader’s ambitions.
We have the faith and hope that we are still those soldiers who have been grown in an atmosphere full of principles, morals and faithfulness….. We will go on till Syria becomes strong, safe and secured
