Summary
Three standard sizes cover 50 to 250 kgf of holding force, and a mechanical lever switches the magnet fully on and fully off without air, power or hydraulics. The copy below is written for buyers of fixtures, automation hardware and fabrication tooling, and it closes with an OEM enquiry route for drawing-based customisation.
Use one title for the page, one meta description for the search snippet, and keep the keyword set stable across the category and the product page.
Custom Magnetic Switch with ON/OFF Lever — Permanent Magnetic Holder for Fixtures and Automation, FZMS Series
Rotatable Magnetic Holder and Magnetic Switch — 50 to 250 kgf Holding Force, NdFeB Magnetic Clamp, FAIZEAL
FAIZEAL FZMS magnetic switches give instant ON/OFF clamping with 50 to 250 kgf holding force. Precision-machined NdFeB holders. OEM and ODM customisation available.

The FAIZEAL FZMS Series magnetic switch is a lever-operated permanent-magnet holder that delivers instant, failsafe ON/OFF clamping with holding forces from 50 to 250 kgf, with no compressed air, no electricity and no hydraulic lines.
Each unit pairs a high-energy NdFeB magnetic circuit with a precision-machined, hard-anodised body, holding steel workpieces and fixture plates securely even under vibration. Four counterbored mounting screws and a single 90-degree turn of the lever are all it takes to integrate the unit into jigs, fixtures and automation systems.
Instant ON/OFF clamping with zero energy input. A mechanical lever rotates the internal permanent-magnet circuit between two states, full holding force and full release, without air, power or hydraulics. Holding force cannot decay in a power failure, because the magnet is either on or off by physics rather than by electronics.
Strong, stable holding force from 50 to 250 kgf. Three standard sizes, FZMS50, FZMS150 and FZMS250, cover everything from light-duty positioning to heavy fixture clamping. Force is generated by a sintered NdFeB magnetic circuit that does not weaken with service life.
Precision-machined referencing surfaces. The mounting face and the contact face are machined in a single setup for flatness and parallelism, so workpiece and fixture plates seat repeatably. This makes the unit suitable for CNC workholding and precision instrument applications.
Rugged industrial construction. A hard-anodised aluminium housing, a machined steel pole assembly and a sealed interior keep ferrous dust and swarf out of the magnetic circuit. The knurled steel lever is sized for gloved operation on the shop floor.
Mounts in minutes. Four counterbored through-holes accept standard socket-head cap screws, and the low profile, from 63.5 mm overall height, fits inside fixture bodies and robot end-effectors.
Maintenance-free. There are no seals to service and no actuators to replace. The only moving part is the lever assembly.

Holding force is measured against a ground, flat mild-steel plate of adequate thickness. Actual force on rough, thin or painted surfaces will be lower.
The magnetic circuit uses sintered NdFeB (neodymium-iron-boron) magnets in a steel return-yoke assembly. The body is hard-anodised aluminium alloy, and the pole plate and internal parts are precision-machined steel.
Mounting is by four counterbored through-holes for M6 socket-head cap screws on the FZMS50 and the FZMS150. Refer to the engineering drawing for the full hole pattern and tolerances.
The operating principle is a manual 90-degree lever that rotates the permanent-magnet circuit between the ON and the OFF state, which makes the holding function failsafe by design.
Jig and fixture clamping. Quick-change holding of steel fixture plates, locators and sub-plates on CNC machining centres and milling machines.
Welding and fabrication fixtures. Rapid positioning and holding of steel components without clamps or toggle locks.
Automation and robotics. Tool-free holding plates and end-effector mounting where pneumatic clamping is impractical.
Packaging and assembly machinery. Securing steel guide plates and changeover parts for fast line changeovers.
Storage and logistics. Magnetic holding of steel signage, shelf dividers and pick-face accessories.
Display and exhibition systems. Concealed, tool-free mounting of steel panels.
Precision instruments and metrology. Non-powered, vibration-stable holding on measurement setups.
Every FAIZEAL magnetic switch is manufactured in our own factory, and the FZMS Series is only the starting point. As the manufacturer, we build magnetic switches and magnetic holders to your requirements rather than to a fixed catalogue.
Custom dimensions and footprint. Manufactured directly from your drawing or from a physical sample.
Custom holding force. The magnetic circuit is re-engineered for your target force and working air gap.
Custom structure and interface. Alternative mounting patterns, threaded inserts, lever orientation, sealed versions, special body materials and surface finishes such as anodising, nickel plating, Dacromet and E-coat.
Commercial terms. Low minimum order quantities, factory-direct pricing and engineering support at the design stage.
Send us your drawing, sketch or sample and our engineers will come back with a proposal and quotation within 24 hours. Attach your file in STEP, DWG or PDF format and state your target holding force and mounting envelope. |

Two figures in the supplied source material need to be reconciled before this page goes live. The engineering drawing dimensions the overall height of the FZMS50 at 63.90 mm, while the specification table states 63.50 mm. The copy above follows the specification table, so please confirm the correct value with engineering and then update both the table and the drawing.
The supplied table states holding force in kilograms rather than kilogram-force. The kilogram is a unit of mass, so the copy uses kgf and adds a newton equivalent for international buyers. The same correction should be applied to the printed catalogue.
Holding force is qualified against a flat ground steel plate. This qualification is deliberate and should not be removed, because it protects both the customer and the factory when force is measured on rough or thin material.
